Temporary Custody

Persons intending to bring packages into the EU territory are obliged to submit the necessary documentation and, where applicable, to pay import charges.
Temporary storage is a supervisory circumstance for all non-Union goods from the moment they are presented at customs offices until they are re-exported or released for import. Galardi Group has authorised customs warehouses for temporary storage, and our team of experts takes care of the paperwork.
This service is designed for all those who cannot clear customs immediately. Packages can be held for up to 90 days without a complete customs declaration being submitted. At the end of this period, a decision must be made between several options: customs clearance and import, placing in bonded warehouse, temporary import, transit, return to sender, destruction, abandonment to the treasury.
